Wasn't the Community Fair a great success! We all owe a big thank you to the organisers and everybody else involved. Wimbledon Park First School now has a state-of-the-art IT centre which will really take the children into the 21st century. I am always impressed by the care and interest which everyone shows in the community. Recently Kiki Allerman took me on a tour of Wellington Park / Durnsford Rec and she and her team have great plans for improvements. What would the Council do without them!
All your letters show how much you want to preserve and protect this area and I am very grateful when you point out things where I can help. At the AGM it was vegetation encroaching on the footway - a regular hazard at this time of year.
