Newsletter. This continues to be the voice of the association. Phoebe Philips our editor has been replaced by Liz Baker supported by Paul Burgess. Contributions are always welcomed from residents.

Membership. We are still below our target of 1,000; membership is up to 869 from 807 last year.

Security. Wimbledon Park has a new community Police Office Carl Wonfor. He has already made himself well known in the area and is working with the association. He is happy to discuss security matters with residents.

Millennium Project. Our bid for funding for redevelopment of the W.P. Hall was rejected. The project is now known as the Wimbledon Park Hall Redevelopment Project.

Treasurers Report. Our income is down this year due to a reduced subscription income and the cost of the Newsletter.

Election of Officers. Paresh Modasia has agreed to continue as Chairman. Six new members have joined the committee. David Hopkinson-Wooley, Samantha Fathers, George Kurdian, Beth Mitchell, Clive Prescott, Michael Roe.

Future Priorities

Garden Rubbish, this is of concern to the majority of residents.
Graffiti, an ongoing problem, PC Wonfor requested that residents advise the Police of the times when graffiti attacks appear to be happening.
Dog Mess.
Millennium Social Event, WPRA is seeking ideas as to how this could be celebrated in Wimbledon Park.
Wimbledon Park Hall The committee is actively promoting the redevelopment of this building.
Street Representatives Several residents have offered to assist the association.
