Refuse Collection in Wimbledon Park

Many residents have expressed concern regarding the collection of refuse by Merton Council. We no longer have community skips on our streets, these were promised following the closure of the  Weir Road civic amenity site. Our streets frequently have household and domestic rubbish left on them. Residents without cars now have no easy means for the disposal of some rubbish.

Wimbledon Park Residents' Association is organising a public meeting with Council Officers and local Councillors. At this meeting you will be able to make representations to these officials about a problem which affects us all.

The meeting will be held in the hall of Christ the King on The Crescent. The date and time will be announced in the near future. Details of the meeting will be announced as soon as a date is fixed.
