WPRA SWOTS

During the next month, the Committee will be swotting! We shall each submit to Pat Gomez our swot analysis of Wimbledon Park Residents' Association, referring to what we think are its:

  Strengths

  Weaknesses

  Opportunities

    Threats

In an unguarded moment, I agreed to collate these views, to give Pat and the Committee a picture of where (we think) we are and where we could or should be going.

It would be really helpful if as many of you as possible could send me, or any Committee member, your own ideas. In this way, future proposals and plans can more accurately reflect local opinion and cater for general and perhaps specific needs. Do, please, send us your responses, whether you are newly - arrived or are a Wimbledon Park veteran. Anonymous contributions will be as welcome as signed ones, which must be a first for this newsletter.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all our friends and neighbours who gave Bridget and I so much support when my wife was injured in a traffic accident very recently. Thankfully she is now home and on the mend.

It is very heartening to find out that we live in a community where so much help was offered, so quickly, so many flowers and cards delivered and so many kind words given.
