Don't be alarmed!
There have been a few cases recently of people buying alarm systems direct from salesmen on their doorsteps. Unfortunately, the systems installed have not proved to be effective. The police do not endorse alarm systems sold in this way. The simplest and cheapest way of ensuring that you get the best and most appropriate alarm system for your home is to ring the Crime Prevention Office at Wimbledon Police station, their advice is objective and free!

Neighbourhood Watch
Update
Neighbourhood Watch is now being co-ordinated by a Committee consisting of resident co-ordinators, council officers and the police.
In order to continue as a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme the relevant co-ordinators MUST re-register their scheme. If you have not yet done so, or would like to start a scheme you should contact Inspector Andy Simons at Wimbledon Police Station
