Finalists at the competition were selected from all the gardens in the area, scored by eleven teams of judges, during the week of 4th - 9th July. Final judging took place on Saturday 15th July.
BEST CONTAINER GARDEN

This was a fresh looking, uncluttered garden with lovely colour combinations of an interesting selection of plants in attractive pots.
BEST SUMMER INTEREST GARDEN

This compactly planted garden contained lots of colour and interest. The "caterpillar" hedge provided a lovely humorous touch.
BEST ALL-YEAR INTEREST GARDEN

The layout of this garden was cleverly contrived by placing a collection of containers of various shapes and sizes to fill the space and lead one in a curve to the front door. The wide range of well-chosen plants ensured all-year interest.
