Many residents will have noticed that Merton Council have been marking our streets with the necessary carriageway markings for the Controlled Parking Zone that is being implemented on the streets near the station. By the time this newsletter is due back from the printers to be distributed Saturday 16th September about half of the streets will have been marked. Only the street on the village ward side of the railway line will be left.

Quoting exactly part of the letter only some residents received from Merton Council, delivered by hand.

"For all enquiries regarding the design of the parking scheme (020-8545-4869) and permit please contact (8545-4652) and should you require further information regarding the implementation of parking scheme please contact me on 020-8545-3638.

A letter will be distributed in the near future providing relevant information in order for you to apply for parking permits.
The parking scheme will not be enforced until the residents have been given sufficient time to apply and receive parking permits. For further information Please ring Tel. 8545-4869"
